Instant healings are fascinating to me. They defy explanation and disprove the old mentality that “you must work hard to achieve anything”. My interest in these shocking displays of grace is why I became a Theta Healer and started EffortlessVitality.com: to show the world how easy positive change can be.
Turns out I’m not the only one. There is a actually a simple method being taught on TV right now. With one step, it shows how to shift your life in the direction you want it to go. It’s really popular, too. The funny part is that it’s being taught as a “dog training technique”!
If you have a dog and cable TV, you probably know about The Dog Whisperer. Cesar Millan teaches – and shows with consistently reproducible results – that dogs respond to the energy of their humans. If you are fearful or aggressive, your dog will be, too. If you do not have clear rules and boundaries personally, your dog will not follow the rules and boundaries you set for him.
The secret is to use Calm Assertive energy: be present in the moment, compassionate, quietly in control, and focusing on the desired outcome.
Three days ago, I experienced the power of these ideas in an obvious way. I’m traveling in Scotland and house sitting for a couple that has 2 dogs. I’m a “cat person” myself, and don’t have a lot of experience with dogs. During the first couple weeks, I did not look forward to the twice daily walks. Both dogs continually tugged on the leashes and would frequently chase after other dogs or people. I felt nervous and annoyed just thinking about it.
A beautiful synchronicity changed that. One morning, my husband and I woke up very early, groggy but unable to go back to sleep. Although I rarely watch TV, I suddenly felt like seeing what was on. Of course, there was an episode of The Dog Whisperer. We used to know Cesar’s techniques, but years had passed and they slipped from our minds. An hour later, we both understood that we needed to adjust OUR energy before we could expect the dogs’ behavior to improve.
That next walk was amazing! The dogs responded immediately to our calm-assertive energy, and behaved beautifully. No tugging, no chasing. In the house, they have also been showing their calm-submissive energy. I just chose to step into my role as their “pack leader” by being calm yet assertive, and totally present in the moment. It instantly resulted in a more peaceful life for me, and the dogs.
Thankfully, this tip is not just for people with dogs. Everyone can have success using Calm Assertive energy: a kid’s karate teacher, a rock climber, parents, peoplemanifesting wealth, and even companies responding to Internet drama.
